N1C L-Series XL-Series Lithium-Ion UPS System Rack and Tower Mount

AVAILABLE NOW: L-Series Lithium-Ion UPS units ready to ship

N1C L-Series XL-Series Lithium-Ion UPS System Rack and Tower MountN1 Critical Technologies new L-Series lineup of lithium-ion-based UPS is now available for ordering and immediate shipment.

These all new 1kVA, 2kVA, 2.2kVA and 3kVA systems are the best on the market, offering longer life, faster recharging, greater energy efficient, lighter weight and higher power density than similar lead-acid based uninterruptible power supply systems.

The “big brother” products in the XL-Series will be deliverable soon, too. The XL-Series offers 5kVA, 6kVA and 10KVA.

Both series have expandable run-times of 12+ hours with additional battery packs. Out-of-the box, you can have runtimes of up to 25 minutes at 100% load on some models.

The 13 models that currently make up the new L-Series and XL-Series use reliable and safety-tested batteries made with Lithium Iron Phosphate. N1 Critical’s battery chemistry is safer, more stable and provides superior thermal operation, allowing its UPS systems to run efficiently in more extreme environments (32º to 140º vs. 32º to 104º for comparable lead acid systems) without battery degradation.

Our limited lifetime warranty on electronics components, coupled with a 10-year battery warranty, is also the best in the business. Not that we expect any breakage, but if your N1C UPS system fails under normal operating conditions, send it in and we’ll send you a new one.

Factory testing has shown a 10-15-year expected operational life of the battery, up to three-times as long as the Valve Regulated Lead (VRLA) batteries they are designed to replace. Our systems also use less space, energy and weigh 33 percent less, making installation easier and more convenient. We even include adjustable rail kits for mounting in four-post IT racks.

“We’ve got the best single-phase UPS systems on the market today, and we’re ready to take the market by storm,” said N1 Critical founder and Chief Executive Officer Nate Ellsworth. “Our UPS systems are feature-rich and compare favorably to the top brands, including APC, Eaton, Liebert Emerson, Tripp Lite and others.”

Lead acid-based UPS systems are on the way out, Ellsworth added, while Lithium-Ion systems like ours are the future of backup power supplies. Investing in N1C products will save companies time, money and hassle from day one after the installation of our systems.”

Additionally, the batteries used in N1 Critical’s products can be discharged more than 1,000 times (vs about 400 discharges for lead-based batteries), while also recharging faster and more efficiently.

Each model in both the L- and XL-Series features online double-conversion technology, which delivers a “clean” and steady supply of voltage to the appliances attached to the UPS, which is critical for sensitive (and often very expensive) equipment.

The models can be both rack- or tower-mounted (leg kits are included, too), and all come standard with SNMP network interface cards and software to manage them remotely.

Each N1C UPS has been ETL certified and independently tested to meet UL standards.

“We’re excited to offer this growing lineup of Lithium-Ion UPS products,” Ellsworth said. “Lithium-Ion battery technology has advanced quickly and it’s prices have come down to where buying a Lithium-Ion based UPS just makes good business and financial sense. You won’t be servicing and replacing batteries every couple of years. You’re going to get a product that has a 10- to 15-year life or beyond, that’s going to work, as expected, for all those years. We feel buying an N1C UPS system be the last UPS system you’ll ever buy. They just cannot be beat.”

4 Reasons for Upgrading to Smart Lithium Ion UPS Technology

With the development of information technologies, such as virtualization, IT infrastructure within data centers and other industrial facilities is transforming rapidly.

Any power outage or surge affecting mission-critical equipment can upset business continuity and productivity, so your Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system should be matched to the scale and requirements of your IT setup.

The latest lithium ion UPS technology offered by N1 Critical Technologies (lithium-ion-ups.com) is designed to offer sophisticated and robust power protection for the most demanding IT loads.

Here are the reasons to upgrade your existing UPS system to this advanced technology.

  1. It Has an Efficient Design and Small Size:

Our smart UPS models (offered in 1kVA, 2kVA, 2.2kVA, 3kVA, 5kVA, 6kVA 10kVA sizes), powered by lithium-ion batteries, are designed to increase energy efficiency and save more space in data centers and industrial facilities. The “Eco” mode use the least amount of power necessary to keep the connected load operational. This offers more energy savings on utility costs when compared to older systems using lead acid batteries. Users can monitor the power usage on the convenient LCD display.

At the same time, lithium-ion batteries have a smaller size and lighter weight to reduce their footprint, optimizing the available space and ensure business continuity without power disruptions. Some companies have even used the extra space savings for more offices for revenue-producing staff.

  1. It Has an Advanced Battery Management System:

The smart UPS designs are easy to use due to their inbuilt BMS or battery management system. You can configure the unit through its accompanying software. The display is intuitive for easy viewing and analysis of data information. This feature helps in monitoring the performance of the lithium-ion UPS battery from any place at any time. Use the data to assess the battery conditions and anticipated lifespan to plan for repair and maintenance routines. This saves on system downtimes in your facility and ensures higher productivity.

  1. It Requires Lesser Maintenance:

Lithium-ion batteries are more maintenance free than the antiquated VRLA batteries. Instead of preventative maintenance done every six month to ensure reliability, our products require preventative maintenance only once a year or two. We also have an expected battery lifespan that can exceed 10 to 15 years, and our 10-year battery warranty is unmatched. N1C UPS systems also have battery monitors on each unit to sense temperature fluctuations and other factors that affect the battery’s life. This all reduces the cost and burden of frequent battery maintenance, giving you time to spend on other critical projects.

  1. It Offers More Energy Density:

In comparison with other battery systems, lithium-ion technology provides more power and energy density for UPS units. They are smaller and allow flexible placement within the data center or commercial establishments. Also, the high energy density of lithium-ion batteries ensures faster recharging speed and more efficiency in the energy storage. Take our UPS system offline and it retains its charge. When they remain online,  our systems offer continuity of operations without frequent recharge cycles.

Summary

All these reasons prove the effectiveness of smart lithium-ion battery-based UPS devices for the modern businesses. Choose the right system, and consult with one of our experts to build a system that meets your needs and makes the most of your investment.
